In a heartbeat

Today was the first scan - it has been a nerve wracking two weeks waiting and praying that we see the tiny speck on the screen with a moving part.



Happy to say it was there - strong and clear for all to see. Can't begin to describe the relief.

Back again in two more weeks to have another look. Wow I'm six weeks pregnant.

Test Results are in

We are scheduled to go in for a blood test today but being up at the Central Coast, and it being still 'holiday' season, we decided to do an HPT instead. I bought a cheap one (of course) where you need to pee in the pot and put the stick in. But I was so nervous that I couldn't fill the pot to the line so had to come back later and try again.
The line was very barely there but there was a shadow of sorts. We had to go out and get a more expensive (reliable) one and bought the one witht he blue cross - which came up clear and strong. OMG we're pregnant!
Have all the symptoms, slight nausea mid afternoon and dog tired to the point of falling asleep on my feet. Very tough to deal with, with a demanding toddler running around.
Will go back to Sydney tomorrow and do a blood test.
